About Us
CONTROL MY IEP ( Yo Domino Mi IEP)
We are experienced professionals in special education, legal services, self-determination, mediation, advocacy, community leadership, and entrepreneurship with over 40 years of experience. She began her career as a special education teacher, and credential as a California Court (Civil and Family law) mediator, and foray into the legal industry before directing her strategic vision on making SOS Ayuda Legal, a prominent force in legal documents and forms preparation, per clients' requests.
She is a hands-on professional who believes that words without actions are a waste. As result in the field of Special education, she created Yo Domino Mi IEP, now know as Control My IEP, with a vision of training parents and caregivers to acquire skills and strategies to empower individuals with disability, to become more independent and self-sufficient.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to promptly provide our parents and clients with high-quality, ethical, creative, affordable, and result-oriented training and information to strengthen their advocacy skills to empower individuals with disabilities, so they can self-advocate, be independent emotionally and financially, to make their own decisions about her / his future.

- M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education -Suffolk University, Boston Massachusetts. (Cum Laude) 1980.
- B.S. in Special Education - Avepane University. (Cum Laude) Caracas, Venezuela. 1977.
